Vivek Bhogaraju is a travel technology executive and board advisor who has built his career at the intersection of travel, data, and AI. Vivek has led teams across early-stage businesses, scaleups, and global public companies in travel. 

He currently serves as an Executive in Residence with private equity firms, helping investment and operating teams assess travel and vertical SaaS opportunities, shape product and commercial strategies, and incubate new lines of business. In addition, he serves on the board of hivr.ai, a vertical AI business that uses autonomous AI agents and an agent orchestration layer to help hotels maximize meetings and group revenue.

Vivek previously served as the founding Chief Operating Officer at Lighthouse, overseeing growth operations, data, insights, systems, and M&A. Earlier, he incubated Expedia Group’s revenue performance solutions business, as founding General Manager,  for lodging and vacation rentals. He got his start in vertical SaaS, at IDeaS Revenue Solutions and SAS Institute leading global partnerships and inorganic growth initiatives. His leadership journey in travel began in luxury hotel operations with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.

Vivek has a master’s of management degree in hospitality from Cornell University and has completed the Chief Data & AI Officer program at Carnegie Mellon University and the advanced design thinking program from IDEO. Vivek has lived in India, Mauritius, the United States, and Switzerland.
